• Franciscan Center's Attire 4 Hire Open House

  Attire 4 Hire is a new program at the Franciscan Center which works to clothe men from Baltimore in job appropriate attire.

  A few months ago, a need was recognized. The men and women who utilize the Franciscan Center's Empowerment Services Department, to learn computer skills, and how to write resumes, were ill equipped when it came to actually going to an interview.

  Through this understanding, Attire 4 Hire was born. However, because of a flourishing partnership with Baltimore Fashion Alliance (BFA) we have been able to not only grow the program, but are excited to open our own 'store' here at the Center. A classically acquainted space, established for our male clients.

  Please join us on June 6th for a tour of the space, and help us celebrate this next step in helping our community build sustainable lives.

• The MOB's "Celebration of The Good"

  Saturday, April 2 1:00pm - 4:00pm

  Little Italy, Baltimore, MD

  The cast of TV's "Good Fellas of Baltimore" and The MOB will be doing neighborhood beautification on the 1100 block of East Baltimore St April 2nd from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a celebration in Little Italy from 1 to 4 pm. Part of the festivities in Little Italy include VIP lunch with the cast and episode 1 viewing at Ciao Bella ($25 pp, all inclusive) from 1 to 2 pm and a live broadcast of cast member Elio Scaccio's radio show at Milan from 3 to 4 pm. We're inviting EVERYONE to come to both events. Lunch seating capacity is limited. People who participate in the cleanup will get discounts from shops and restaurants in Little Italy that day. Everyone who has lunch at Ciao Bella with the cast will also receive a gift certificate to go back there another day!

• Neighborhood Beautification by The MOB

  Saturday, April 2 10:00am - 12:00pm

  1100 block of East Baltimore Street in Baltimore, MD

  Bring flowers, potted plants, trash bags, brooms, shovels and anything else you can think of to help beautify this area. We need 500 volunteers to participate in this 2-hour MOB event. Afterwards from 1 to 4 pm, join the cast of Good Fellas of Baltimore in Little Italy for a Celebration of The Good in everyone!

  Watch the first episode of "Good Fellas of Baltimore" with the cast and crew. There will be light refreshments, door prizes, a Q&A with the Director and cast. The show airs from 1 to 1:30 on many incredible flat screens at Gramophone.
